Atlas Ward is currently working on a distribution project on one of the leading and most attractive business parks in the North of England. 'Firstpoint' situated in Doncaster was awarded to them by main contractor J F Finnegan on behalf the Catesby Property Group.

Atlas Ward is responsible for the design, fabrication and erection of 3 buildings to date at Firstpoint Business Park, named A2, B1 and B2. A2 measures 414,930 sq ft and consists 1400 tonnes of structural steelwork. B1 measures 276,880 sq ft and B2 measures 246,300 sq ft. B1 and B2 are being erected in quick succession and they have a combined tonnage of 1800t of structural steelwork and decking. The total tonnage of the three buildings is 3200t and the footprint measures nearly 1 million sq ft.

Firstpoint provides excellent opportunities for a variety of businesses in a high quality landscaped environment. With the added bonus of excellent access to Doncaster and J3 of the M18, the site is an ideal link to the rest of the UK.

The Firstpoint development is set to bring several hundred new jobs to the area and is due for completion Mid 2007.
