Multi Development UK - Appointment - Belfast, Multi Celebrates Sceptre Award

Multi Development UK have been awarded Developer of the Year - Runner Up at the recent 2007 SCEPTRE Awards. The SCEPTRE Awards organised by the national property and retail publication "Shopping Centre", reward and highlight best practice in the shopping centre industry. The prestigious award was presented to Vic Michel, Multi Development's Technical Director at the Dorchester, Park Lane London on 20th June. Commenting on the award, Vic Michel said that, "receiving this accolade is a tremendous endorsement from our colleagues in the retail property industry. This award highlights Multi's excellence in terms of our contribution to the shopping centre industry."
The award recognises Multi Development's portfolio of inner-city regeneration projects underway in the UK and Ireland, which represents an investment value of over £1bn. Victoria Square, Belfast will be Multi Development's first to open in the UK and Ireland in March 2008. The scheme, anchored by House of Fraser, will be the most tangible sign yet of Belfast's renaissance. With 800,000 sq ft of retail over three floors and an iconic 35m dome towering over the site, the project will set new standards for development in Northern Ireland. Multi Development's other UK retail led regeneration developments include Summer Row in Wolverhampton and SouthGate in Bath.
