GVA Grimley - Offices Development - Loughton, Exton Take Two In Loughton

Exton Estates is working up plans for a £50m data centre on a three-acre site in Loughton, Essex, it bought from Epping Forest District Council for £6m.

The site on Langston Road has consent for office and industrial use. Exton has secured initial site funding from a locally based consortium. GVA Grimley advised Exton and LSH advised the Council.

The site is a stone's throw from the 60,000 sq ft Loughton Business Centre, funded by Royal London, where Exton are celebrating early successes on a scheme which is currently under construction and due to complete in November.

Exton has already sold five of the six hi tech two storey office and warehousing units and four of the six offices. The offices incorporate a high specification including passenger lift, shower area, data/cable access, comfort cooling and on site car parking.
