Rok - Offices Development - Havant, Rok's Project Is Sky High
Date: 03 Oct 2007
The brand new steel framework at the £9 million Dakota Business Park can now been seen across the Havant skyline.
Rok is celebrating after completing the foundations and the main steel structure as part of phase two at its 80,000 sq ft Downley Road scheme - and well ahead of schedule.
The prestigious project demonstrates the company's joined-up approach to business - with the scheme being conceived by Rok Development based in Southampton and delivered by the Rok Building team based in Fareham.
Darren Rattew, project manager for Rok Development, said: "Dakota Business Park has really progressed at a pace over the past few months with various unit sales secured as well as strong interest in the remaining units.
"We provide quality office and industrial space for businesses and this development is no exception. We have been working closely with our colleagues from Rok Building and we have already sealed a deal with Tileasy to provide a bespoke 23,500 sq ft unit for its hand-made tile business.
"This latest achievement is another success under our belts and I look forward to seeing the development progress even further over the coming months."
Dakota Business Park is located just one mile from Havant Town Centre and the main railway station with the A27 and A3(M) road links within 1 1/2 miles. The development is available for occupiers to purchase as freehold or to lease.
Emmie Pritchett-Brown for Rok Building said: "I am delighted with the progress of this project. Rok's focus is to deliver exceptional customer services as well as quality projects by its maintenance, building and development teams and this project is a true example of that goal.
"I am confident that we will continue to receive a high level of interest in the development as well as the remaining units being snapped up."
