Chancerygate Business Centres - Industrial Development - Birmingham, Chancerygate Secures Planning Permission For Birmingham Trade Park

Date: 11 Oct 2007

Industrial property specialist Chancerygate Business Centres has secured planning permission to develop 37,650 sq ft of trade counter and distribution property in Kingsbury Road, Erdington, to be known as the Birmingham Trade Park.

Construction of the new development will begin in October and the 16 leasehold properties will be available for occupation in May 2008. The units will range in size from 983 - 3,300 sq ft and, under the terms of the planning consent, will benefit from 30% ancillary trade use.

Chancerygate director Charlie Withers says: "The development will be similar to other trade counter schemes we have constructed around the country. The high quality properties are suitable for a number of distribution and trade uses and have proved incredibly popular with occupiers. We already have strong interest from three separate trade counter operators."

Robsons Surveyors, King Sturge and Knight Frank have been appointed as the agents for the scheme.
