Opus Land - Industrial Development - Goole, Opus 36
Date: 08 Nov 2007
Opus Land, one of the fastest-growing property development and investment companies in the country, is developing a prime 120,000 sq ft industrial site on the outskirts of Goole.
The Ilkley-based company is transforming the former Fletcher Transport site into a high-quality business and distribution location. It will be ready for occupation in April next year.
Called Opus 36, as it is adjacent to Junction 36 of the M62, it comprises six single-storey units, ranging from 7,000 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft, and two offices, which are already let.
Andrew Duncan, a director of Opus Land, commented: "We are extremely excited about Opus 36. We believe the refurbished state-of-the-art units, combined with the park's excellent location, will prove very attractive. Interest in the units, which can be rented or bought, is already strong.
"All the units have extensive yards and parking and are fully serviced and secure. They are available in a combination of sizes and we will do our best to accommodate the needs of prospective tenants or purchasers," he added.
Mike Haigh, of property agents Dove Haigh Phillips in Leeds, commented: "Opus 36 is situated on the outskirts on Goole, by Junction 36 of the M62. This is a superb location, with easy access to Yorkshire's motorway network, to Lincolnshire and to the increasingly successful and popular East Coast ports.
He added: "It provides an excellent opportunity for local, regional and national occupiers to purchase or lease buildings on flexible terms ranging from 7,000 sq ft to 60,000 sq ft which are being substantially refurbished. The units are all single storey with extensive yards and parking areas.
The agents for Opus 36 are Dove Haigh Phillips and PPH Commercial of Hull and the building contractors are Havercroft Construction of Brigg.
