STATS Ltd - General Appointment - St Albans, Hertfordshire

Specialist environment and engineering consultancy firm STATS Ltd has started the New Year with promotions for two key members of staff following a successful 2007.

Dr George Tuckwell is now a Director at the firm after joining four years ago to lead the geophysical survey and numerical modelling division. He completed his PhD at the University of Southampton in 1998 before taking lectureship positions in geophysics at the University of Liverpool and then at Keele University.

Additionally, Mark Steward has been promoted to Associate Director due to the continued success of STATS' regional geoenvironmental and geotechnical services based at its Coventry office under his leadership. He joined the company in 2006.

Commenting on the promotions, STATS Chairman Adrian Marsh says, "As a consultancy our greatest asset is our people and this announcement highlights our policy of rewarding consistently high levels of achievement. Both Mark and George a re key members of the team here at STATS."

The firm also has an office in St Albans, Herts.
