Lakesmere - General Development - Battersea Park, London
Date: 14 Jan 2008
Following the successful completion of the previous four phases, national building envelope specialists Lakesmere has once again been selected to complete works on the latest stage of the prestigious Chelsea Bridge Wharf residential scheme in London.
The £326k appointment will see Lakesmere reunited with developer Berkeley Homes to complete works on what will be the fifth and final phase of the iconic development. The team will undertake the design and installation of various roofing works, including specialist eaves detailing, and will commence its work towards the end of 2008.
Matt Nicholson, Regional Director of Lakesmere South said: "We are delighted that our already successful working partnership with Berkeley Homes is set to continue with our appointment to work on the final stage of this prestigious project. The development of such strong client relationships has long been the secret to our success and we are proud to have been involved in the Chelsea Bridge Wharf scheme from conception to completion."
Overlooking the River Thames and affording spectacular views of the nearby Battersea Park, Chelsea Bridge Wharf has become a modern London landmark, not least because of its groundbreaking roof design that involved the UK's first-ever use of unusual red and blue duotone coated aluminium sheets. Appointed to work on the very first phase back in 2002, Lakesmere has since undertaken installation works for both the roof and high level cladding areas on all four phases.
