Date: 25 Jan 2008
Knight Real Estate, a Chess Property Group plc company, has struck a deal for a new property development at Kirkhill Industrial Estate, Dyce, Aberdeen.
It is to provide new office, training and administration space for helicopter services provider CHC Scotia adjacent to the company's premises on Howe Moss Drive.
The three-storey development will feature over 6,490sq ft of training space and 5,371sq ft of office space and complement CHC's existing office premises that they presently lease from Knight Real Estate.
Work on the development will commence in February and be completed by late summer.
Knight Real Estate Director Howard Crawshaw says: "We're extremely pleased to have concluded this 15-year lease which incorporated extending and realigning the existing office lease to support the growth plans of an established offshore services provider.
"The building contains a number of distinctive features, including a curtain-wall entrance and training viewing gallery, and benefits from air conditioning with excellent on-site parking.
"The deal represents an excellent start to the year for us and we'll be looking to move forward with in excess of 10 developments throughout Scotland in the first six months of 2008."
