Hillview Developments - Industrial Development - London, Enfield

Hillview Developments, a subsidiary of McInerney Holdings, advised by Doherty Baines has acquired a 1.92 acres (0.77 hectares) site on Morson Road, Ponders End, Enfield from pharmaceutical company Merck Sharp & Dohme Limited.

Hillview specialises in providing industrial units for small to medium sized businesses and state that the new site is strategically located in an area offering significant potential.

Hillview has plans for a 57,450 sq ft mixed development of warehousing and hi-tech units complimented with offices on the first floor. The 26 units scheme is designed by LDA Chartered Architects. They range in size from 1,520 sq ft to 3,192 sq ft.

Russell Taylor, UK Operations Director, Hillview Developments said that this land acquisition formed a key part in the company's strategy to secure sites in areas where there was significant demand for business units.

"There is good demand in the London market from small to medium sized businesses seeking premises at circa 2,000 sq feet. Our Enfield site is well located offering significant benefits for owner occupiers as it is situated adjacent to excellent access routes servicing both central and greater London."

Michael Haines of Doherty Baines said: "This is a very well located scheme in an up and coming area and we anticipate strong demand from owner occupiers due to the limited supply of similar product in the Enfield area."

CBRE advised Merck.
