ISG Technology Division - General Development - London, City of London

Date: 05 Mar 2008

ISG Technology Division has commenced work on a £4.6 million project with Muller Professional Services Ltd, Property Managers for iii Investments GMBH at Pinners Hall on Old Broad Street in the City of London. The fast-track project sees ISG undertaking a demanding infrastructure upgrade at the commercial office building, which will remain occupied throughout the duration of the scheme.

Work has begun on stripping out and re-locating existing roof and basement mechanical & electrical services, to provide capacity for two new roof mounted 2MVA generators, with space provision for a future third generator to serve eventual client Deutsche Bank's power and resilience requirements.

Accessibility issues and space restrictions will prove a challenging element of this complex logistical project, with ISG adopting highly flexible working practices to ensure the successful completion of the building upgrade. Robust programme planning and out of hours working will minimise any potential disruption to existing tenants within Pinners Hall, with the project scheduled for completion by July 2008.

Steve Trotter, managing director of ISG commented: "The complexities of delivering this fast track project, whilst working in a tightly constrained and busy location have demanded extensive planning from the very outset. ISG retains the skills and expertise to take on challenging projects and has built up an enviable track record successfully delivering niche projects for blue chip clients on time and within budget."
