Malcolm Hollis - General - UK

Date: 12 Mar 2008

Building consultancy Malcolm Hollis has achieved One Star Status in the Best Companies Accreditation list 2007, which recognises organisational excellence in the area of workplace engagement.

The scheme acknowledges and rewards organisations that provide excellent workplaces, excellent workplace practices, and great leadership as defined by its own employees. It follows a 'Michelin style' star system of one star being first class, two stars being outstanding, and three stars being extraordinary. Out of 653 organisations and 140,000 employees surveyed, only 307 organisations achieved "star status" with only 142 organisations in the UK recognised with One Star Status.

Yvette Kentish, Head of Human Resources at Malcolm Hollis, said: "We are delighted to have achieved One Star Status. It is a great source of pride and a real acknowledgement of the people at Malcolm Hollis and the working environment we have created. We look after our staff, which means they are happier in themselves and more committed to the business, enabling us to deliver an exceptional service to clients. It is a win-win."
