Lief Designs - Offices Development - Amersham, Buckinghamshire

Lief Designs of Guernsey is progressing the first phase of its development of the former Penn Street Works in Amersham, the buildings on the site having been demolished.

The scheme will be known as 'De Havilland Court' and the first phase will comprise three office blocks, known as Mosquito, Rapid and Comet. This first phase will be completed in December 2008.

During the Second World War, Mosquito aeroplanes were manufactured in Penn Street; in particular the timber propellers and the fuselages were manufactured in the rear buildings.

The offices will be available from around 600 sq ft (55.74 sq m) upwards and are available to let or to buy, on a floor-by-floor basis or in their entirety. The total area of this first phase is approximately 19,500 sq ft (1,811.61 sq m.

Stupples in Amersham has been instructed as sales and letting agent.
