Date: 08 May 2008

Award winning £150M regeneration development, The Gateway Leeds, continues to go from strength to strength with a letting to national gym provider Motiv8. The fitness suite has taken a 25 year lease on 1,000 sq ft in the Gateway West building, whose distinctive turquoise tiled exterior provides a stunning addition to the Leeds landscape.

Tom Brammeld, of Jones Lang LaSalle, letting agents on the scheme commented: "This is another important element for The Gateway. It is services like this which help raise the development above the competition and create a positive place to live and work."

Development director of scheme developers Scotfield Ltd, Stephen Holman added; "We are delighted that residents and occupiers of The Gateway now have access to a superb gym as well as the multitude of other services currently at the development, such as on site hair salon Hirst & Miller, coffee shop Aroma and hotel chain Etap. Collectively they are truly creating a village atmosphere and offering residents and commercial tenants alike everything they could want right on their doorstep."

Phase Two is currently under construction, which is to be Gateway East and Gateway South, the highly anticipated additions to the landmark island development spanning four acre's of inner city, providing a further 25,000 sq ft of prime office space and 298 luxury apartments, of which 75% are already sold.
