Date: 19 May 2008

RO Developments has pre-let a third of the accommodation within its new Harlow One trade counter scheme in Edinburgh Way, Harlow to Travis Perkins. It is also going to be developing a builders merchant building for Travis Perkins on adjoining land.

Travis Perkins will trade as Benchmarx Kitchens and Joinery from a unit of about 7,700 sq ft and as City Plumbing Services from an adjoining unit of about 4,800 sq ft. The adjacent builders merchant building of about 15,000 sq ft will trade as Keyline, each achieving a rental of £8.50 per sq ft.

The trade counter scheme totals about 40,000 sq ft and along with the builders merchant building will complete RO's 135,000 sq ft Harlow One development which also includes an 80,000 sq ft self storage building developed for Lok'n Store.

RO Developments has a further two of the eight trade counter units under offer and expects to have the remaining units let by practical completion in June this year.

RO Developments' Chief Executive, Chris Bond, said "We are delighted to welcome Benchmarx, City Plumbing Services and Keyline to the scheme and are in detailed discussions with several other parties. This will be the premier trade park in Harlow".

Property acquisitions manager at Travis Perkins, Mark Garrity, said "Harlow One's position on Edinburgh Way adjacent to retailers such as B&Q, Homebase and Comet makes it the ideal location for us. We are looking forward to opening as soon as possible."

Derrick Wade Waters are the letting agents for the remaining trade counter units.
