Chalcroft Construction - Appointment - King's Lynn
Date: 04 Jul 2008
Chalcroft Construction has appointed Rachel Minns as a new quantity surveyor, working from the company's King's Lynn base.
Rachel (30), from Dersingham, who has spent her career in the construction industry at well-known East Anglia firms, commented: "Being a quantity surveyor is great because the work is so varied and no two days are the same. Moving to Chalcroft has given me the opportunity to learn more things from different people and I am really enjoying the work and the people."
Rachel is using her skills in procurement, valuing and contracts on a number of projects, including a leisure development in Heacham, Norfolk, and a conversion project in Reepham, also in Norfolk. She will also be working on schemes for Chalcroft's Food Projects division.
Andy Dowling, Chalcroft's commercial manager commented: "Good, quality quantity surveyors with experience of different construction projects are hard to come by and so we are delighted to announce Rachel's appointment as we know she will both add to the team and enhance our services to our customers."
Using its ethos of teamwork and partnership, and utilising and managing local labour and sub-contractors where possible, Chalcroft Construction has developed an industry-leading reputation for providing its customers with tailor-made solutions.
