HLM Architects' - Appointment - UK

HLM Architects' interior design team has grown to 14 with the appointment of Karen Crookes in the practice's Belfast office and Morna Dalton in the Scotland office.
Karen joins from Intec Design where she was responsible for all aspects of design on projects within the commercial sector and particularly in the hospitality and licensed trade industries. Morna joins from BM Homes Scotland where she worked on a variety of projects ranging from New Build Houses to Blocks of Flats, Hotels and Barn Conversions.
Sally Billau, associate and joint head of the interiors team at HLM, said: "The interiors division at HLM has enjoyed steady growth and we now have excellent representation throughout the UK, with dedicated teams in each of our six regional offices.
Emily Pickering, associate and joint head, added: "We make a real difference to communities through our work - creating healthcare facilities where people get well faster and designing educational establishments that inspire learning. For our commercial clients, we bring our experience of working within tight budgets to make the most of every space," she added.
Current projects being undertaken by HLM's interiors team include: Building Schools for the Future projects in Wales; an all through learning facility in Plymouth; Cynon Valley Hospital in Wales; Castle Hill Hospital in Hull; and a training suite at Lancaster University.
