Land Securities - General Other - UK
Date: 30 Jul 2008
The maintenance division of Watford based, Procare Building Services has won a prestigious contract with Land Securities, the UK's largest real estate investment trust. The contract is for an initial one year period and worth up to £1 million. Covering Land Securities' London Portfolio it will serve mainly the common areas of the 60 multi-occupancy buildings but some tenant areas will be involved.
"Land Securities is a huge company in terms of UK real estate and the fact that Procare has the opportunity to represent such an influential and prestigious organisation signifies a tremendous opportunity. Furthermore the fact that we are able to compete for such an important contract pays testament to the reputation we have built up and the huge strides forward we have made as key suppliers of reactive maintenance services to London and the South East of England," comments John Miles, Director, Procare Maintenance.
This minor works maintenance contract consists of painting, decorating and general building works and has been split between two successful providers, of which Procare is one. After the initial one year period has lapsed Land Securities will then select just one of the two providers to handle the contract thereafter.
Procare Maintenance is one of the market leaders in providing multi-disciplined rapid response reactive maintenance services with a 24 hour call out facility to clients in both the public and private sectors, ranging from government agencies through to property manager and high street retailers.
