Auction Action
Acting in conjunction with joint agents, Vanderpump and Wellbelove, Haslams, whose experience as auctioneers dates back to 1838, are inviting further lots to be entered into the auction, be they residential, commercial, land or investment properties.
Steven Smith, partner with Haslams comments "This practice's auction heritage dates back nearly 160 years and we feel the time and market conditions are right to re-enter the sector. We already have ten lots entered - which is a reasonable start - but there is still time to add more, and we are actively inviting interested vendors to contact us at the earliest opportunity".
The auction venue is to be Pincents Manor, Calcot and it will take place on 16 October.
"After several quiet years the residential investment market has strengthened considerably and there are now more unusual properties available. - such property is ideally suited for an auction sale, as are probate estates" added Mr Smith who believes that there is need in the Thames Valley for an auction house. Auction property has in the recent past tended to be sold in London, but there is now an opportunity to do so locally through a firm well equipped to handle the complexities of an auction sale.
Haslams have produced a free guide called "How to Buy at Auction" and copies can be obtained from that firm. Haslams anticipate that auctions will take place at regular intervals. with entries to be well publicised by way of full colour auction catalogues, widespread mailing and extensive advertising.
