Sworder Belcher Holt - Industrial Development - Spalding

SBH have been appointed by Geest Prepared Foods to provide a full project and construction management service for a major development at Geest's Spalding site.

The new 120,000 sq ft warehouse, 33 ft high, will be complete with offices, parking spaces for 120 cars, all on Geest's existing 75 acre site.

Construction will be over a 20 week period with completion programmed for May 2001.

The 4million cubic feet temperature controlled chilled store will initially provide storage for 5,000 pallets in a state-of-the-art development, utilising the latest technology in refrigeration. Utilising quiet and environmentally friendly technology the warehouse will enable Geest Prepared Foods' growth for the foreseeable future to be accommodated at Spalding.
