The £7million Digital World Centre is the fifth and final element of the National Landmark Millennium Project for Arts in Salford Quays – the first of which was The Lowry. Sited adjacent to The Lowry this futuristic building will provide 5,500sqm of office space and support facilities for emerging digital technology companies when completed in December 2001. The project is at scheme design stage. The Architects are RTKL , structural engineers Sinclair Knight Merz, services engineer WSP, and the client is the Lowry Centre Development Company
