Teesland Group plc - Industrial Development - Tullibody, Dumyat Business Park

Date: 01 May 2001

Central Scotland Business Parks ("CSBP"), a joint venture between Teesland Group plc ("Teesland") and Clackmannanshire and Stirling Councils, announces further success at Dumyat Business Park, Tullibody.

Phase II at Dumyat Business Park has now reached practical completion; this follows the successful letting of Phase I to Scotcol Processing Ltd ("Scotcol"). Phase II comprises a flexible production/storage unit extending to 2,362 sq m (25,420 sq ft) currently sub-divided to create two units of 1,181 sq m (12,710 sq ft) each. Large loading areas and an excellent car parking allocation are an added attraction to any occupier. The building is now available for immediate occupation and further sub-division can be accommodated.

This high quality unit forms part of an expanding 25-acre development fronting the A907 at Tullibody. The master plan for this development provides for a further 11,148 sq m (100,000 sq ft) of industrial space in addition to a 1,859 sq m (20,000 sq ft) call centre, a 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft) office building and a roadside restaurant.

The Park occupies a strategic position 40 miles from both Edinburgh and Glasgow with excellent accessibility to the M8 and M9 motorways. Phase II offers a pleasant working environment set within landscaped grounds with views over the Ochil Hills.

CSBP anticipates that its Dumyat Business Park, Pavilions Business Park and Smart Village developments will attract a broad spectrum of new employers to the Alba area.

DTZ Debenham Tie Leung in Edinburgh and Clackmannanshire Council are acting as joint letting agents for Phase II of Dumyat Business Park.

Mandy Somerville of Teesland said: "Last year's letting to Scotcol at Dumyat has proved an excellent start to developments. The ideal location of Dumyat together with the superb facilities combine to create business space which we feel will be highly competitive within the industry."

Keith Brown, Leader of Clackmannanshire Council commented: "The Council is delighted to see Dumyat Business Park's furthering success. Such developments add prosperity to the region and provide significant employment opportunities. Scotcol has given the Business Park an excellent reputation, we expect to see another top business interested in taking this new business space."
