Healey & Baker - Retail Development - Hanley, East and West Precincts

Farringford Limited, through its subsidiary Delma Developments, propose a new 320,000 sq ft (30,000 sq m) retail centre which will be created as a result of the demolition and redevelopment of the existing East and West Precincts in Hanley, Staffordshire.

The company owns the majority of the site and is close to finalising agreements for the acquisition of the remainder.

The retail space will be supported by a 420-space car park and will be immediately adjacent to the new bus station, which will be relocated from the site of the proposed scheme.

The developer reports strong retailer interest in the space to be provided which is due for completion in early 2004.
