CMS Cameron McKenna - Retail Development - Norwich, Riverside Retail Park

CMS Cameron McKenna has acted for Henderson Investors in its purchase of a retail scheme at Riverside Norwich. Henderson Investors is acting on behalf of National Provident Life Limited and London Life Limited in this £38m deal.
The scheme comprises an existing 82,000 square feet occupied by Morrison and Wensum Developments Limited plan to extend the development by a further
152,000 square feet, adding seven non food units. Four of the units have been let already and work has begun on the 95,000 square foot unit pre-let to Woolworths. The other three have been let to Boots, Argos, JJB Sports. Wensum Developments is a joint venture company between Gazeley and Railtrack.
Mark Heighton, (Property) Sally Badham and Mary Ahern of CMS acted for Henderson Investors, Henry Minto of McGuiness Finch acted on behalf of Wensum Developments Limited.
Mark Heighton commented:
"This development is the second phase of Wensum's redevelopment of the Riverside area in Norwich, adding a much needed retail park to the existing leisure facilities which have already been sold to MWB."
