Weatherall Green & Smith - Offices Development - Herts, Borehamwood, Elstree Way
Date: 22 Jun 2001
Salmon Harvester plc has unveiled proposals for a new 8,038 sq m (86,500 sq ft) headquarters office building on its Eclipse site in Elstree Way, Borehamwood, Herts.
The developer has submitted a detailed planning application to Hertsmere Borough Council for a seven-storey air conditioned office building on the 0.76 ha (1.8 acre) site at the junction of Elstree Way and Warwick Road. There will be parking for 313 cars (1:272 sq ft).
Doug Stewart, a director of Salmon Harvester, comments:
"Borehamwood is a much underrated location despite its excellent road and rail links. There is currently no new office development taking place in the town and Eclipse has been designed to satisfy demand for a headquarters building in the region. During the planning stage we have the opportunity to liaise with major companies with requirements, so this landmark property could incorporate their ideas."
Weatherall Green & Smith and Lambert Smith Hampton have been appointed as joint letting agents.
