Edward Symmons & Partners - Offices Development - Crewe, Crewe Business Park

Date: 29 Jun 2001

Health Shield, one of the UK's leading providers of health insurance to the transport industry, are about to begin construction on an innovatory office building at Crewe Business Park, Crewe. Edward Symmons & Partners have been instructed to advise on and market the contemporary offices, whose distinctive design will attract companies seeking a unique office environment.

The accommodation will offer 215 sq m (2314 sq ft) - 665 sq m (7158 sq ft) of office space incorporating raised floors, air-conditioning, fully double glazed windows to one elevation and passenger lift. The building will be fully carpeted and there are good parking provisions. Construction is about to commence, with completion in early 2002.

Having purchased the 1.45 acres (0.6 hectares) site on Electra Way and constructed three storey offices of approximately 650 sq m (7000 sq ft) for their own occupation, Health Shield will construct a building of similar size and design for a company seeking such exclusive accommodation.

Stephen Cooper of the Manchester Office of Edward Symmons & Partners comments,

"Health Shield's own offices in Crewe Business Park are noted in the area for their innovative design. The new offices will provide useful space for companies seeking a unique building within a unique environment and will particularly appeal to those companies wishing to make a statement to their clients and customers".
