Stannifer - Offices Development - Warwickshire, Stratford-upon-Avon, Ryon Hill Park

Date: 09 Oct 2001

Stannifer, the development and investment group, has received planning consent for two further office buildings, totalling over 8,268 sq m (89,000 sq ft), at Ryon Hill Park, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. Stannifer, which is has its own headquarters on the park, won approval for the 4,506 sq m (48,500 sq ft) Avon House and the 3,795 sq m (40,850 sq ft) Lake House.

The approval came at the same time as Stannifer successfully concluded the sale of the latest new accommodation on the park. The Boathouse, a 1,468 sq m (15,800 sq ft) Grade A office building completed by Stannifer earlier this year, has been purchased by NFU Mutual Insurance Society for its own occupation.

The deal is the latest in a number of successful transactions concluded by Stannifer at the 6.7 hectare (16.5 acre) business park, located on the edge of Stratford.

NFU Mutual, which purchased another 1,486 sq m (16,000 sq ft) building (Woodlands) from Stannifer in 1999, will occupy half of the space at The Boathouse. The remainder is let on commercial leases to tenants including The Bynx Group.

Colin Hooper, Stannifer development manager, said:

"This deal demonstrates that those who are willing to provide accommodation of a high standard in the West Midlands, even if it outside Birmingham, will readily find occupiers for their product."
