Bournston - Offices Development - Lincoln, Whisby Road, The Point

Date: 05 Dec 2001

Leading county business people were told about opportunities available at a new £5 million office park which opens up the prospect of creating up to 400 new jobs, at a reception at the Bentley Hotel, Lincoln.

The Point, a three-acre development on Whisby Road close to the Lincoln bypass, will be the largest office park Lincoln has ever seen and is the first true out-of-town development of this type.

The reception and presentation by Nottingham based developer, Bournston, chartered surveyors Hodgson Elkington and Banks Long, joint agents for the scheme, and independent financial advisers Thompson & Richardson also focused on tax efficient purchase options through pension fund acquisition.

"We have already signed up our first deal, three others are agreed and other serious enquiries are being pursued," said Daniel Race, partner at Hodgson Elkington .

The Point will provide 43,000 sq ft of single and two storey, high specification office accommodation. Completion will be in January 2002.
