Strutt & Parker - Offices Development - Maidenhead, Braywick Gate
Date: 14 Dec 2001
Strutt & Parker and Lambert Smith Hampton have been instructed as joint agents on 3,809 sq m/41,000 sq ft of state of the art office space in Maidenhead to be developed by Castlemore Securities Ltd. It will be known as Braywick Gate and will be the only new town centre office building of over 1,394 sq m/15,000 sq ft available for the foreseeable future.
The scheme is strategically located opposite the train station on the fringe of the town centre.
Construction is scheduled to start on site in late March 2002 with completion anticipated towards the end of 2003.
Castlemore is no stranger to the Maidenhead market having in recent years, pre-let 13,935 sq m/150,000 sq ft in two office buildings ie; Grenfell Island to Hutchinson 3G and Kings Gate to CinCom.
James Renison of Strutt & Parker comments:
"Despite the effects of the slow down experienced around the M4 corridor there are one or two towns enjoying a strong micro climate and Maidenhead is one of them. Here IT and telecommunications companies are still very committed alongside pharmaceutical and services companies."
