Longford Business Centres - Offices Development - Swansea Centre, Princess House

Date: 08 Jan 2002

Longford Business Centres - the quality provider of serviced office solutions - today announced plans for an 1,187 sq ft extension to its Swansea centre at Princess House. Work is due to be completed early 2002 with the majority of the office space already reserved.

Longford currently operates 7,714 sq ft on three floors in Princess House. The proposed expansion involves the installation of Category 5e cabling on the 10th floor of the centre and will offer additional serviced office suites suitable for 15-person, three-person and two-person offices. All suites will be available on both short and long term lease arrangements and will offer a full range of business services to match clients' needs.

With occupancy levels also reaching saturation at Haywood House North - Longford's 17,000 sq ft sister centre in Cardiff - demand for serviced offices in South Wales remains strong.

Jane Gwillim-David, Longford's joint Managing Director commented: "This is a very positive move for Longford and we are thrilled to announce our plans for expansion at Princess House. Longford operates business centres in both Cardiff and Swansea City Centres and has its roots as a business in South Wales. We are committed to consolidating our presence and working with local businesses within the region.

Princess House attracts a diverse range of clients from local charities and theatre companies to national call centres and household names.

"Despite the overall economic slowdown, Longford is demonstrating consistent growth across all regions in which it operates and is committed to progress further expansion plans across the M3 and M4 corridors during 2002."
