Knight Frank - Mixed-Use Development - Bradford, Park 26
Date: 07 Feb 2002
The biggest speculative industrial unit ever to be built in Bradford, Yorkshire, has been completed by the Ogden Group of Companies at Park 26, near Junction 2 of the M606, and marks the rejuvenation of a former redundant site.
The 53,550 sq ft warehouse facility has been built specifically to a high standard and benefits from quality office space, 8.9m eaves, three dock-level and two drive-in loading doors, sectional car and lorry parking along with an extended secure yard area. The building is available immediately for occupation.
Built alongside is another 15,091 sq ft warehouse and production unit with extended service yard which is also available for occupation.
Councillor Simon Cooke of Bradford City Council's Executive Committee for the economy, said he was delighted to see the development's completion. "There continues to be an impressive level of demand for industrial space in the district and I welcome such high quality speculative development," he said.
These two units are part of a two-phase scheme, with the next three units providing buildings of 14,165 sq ft, 22,021 sq ft and 24,354 sq ft. Joint agents on the project are Knight Frank and Carter & Co.
