Forsters - Mixed-Use Development - Swansea City Centre, Castle Quays

Mayfair firm, Forsters has scooped the legal work in connection with the a major mixed use development at Castle Quays in Swansea City Centre.

Forsters has been selected from a line up of leading property firms to act for the City & Council of Swansea and the Welsh Development Agency in relation to the proposed development to be undertaken by Centros Miller and Simons Estates as the chosen developers. The proposed scheme, anchored by a department store operator will provide around 300,000 sq ft of retail floorspace, 50,000 sq ft of leisure/A3 use and residential elements. Smita Edwards, head of Commercial Property at Forsters will lead a team of lawyers from the firm's property, planning, litigation and construction departments.

Commenting on the new instruction, Smita Edwards says:
