Rogers Chapman - Offices Development - London W12, 26-30 Uxbridge Road

Date: 11 Mar 2002

HBG Properties Limited, advised by Rogers Chapman has purchased a 0,51 ha (1 acre) site at 26-30 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, for the development of a seven-storey 7,804 sq m (84,000 sq ft) air-conditioned office building. The scheme will have an end value in excess of £25 million.

The development, which is to be known as Ealing Gateway, will be the largest office scheme to be developed in Ealing for over a decade.

At this stage, HGB are implementing a pre-letting campaign with a view to commencing construction during 2002. The building is available as a whole or floor or on a floor basis.

Clwyd Roberts of HGB comments, “Ealing has witnessed little speculative office development and consequently there is very limited supply of either new or good quality second hand accommodation. With current rental levels for air-conditioned officers in Ealing in the region of £291 per sq m (£27 per sq ft) we can provide occupiers with quality space at an extremely competitive rental.”

Rogers Chapman has been retained as agents to secure a prelet of the scheme.
