CMS Cameron McKenna - Mixed-Use Development - Romford, The Brewery

Leading international law firm, CMS Cameron McKenna, has advised Henderson Investors on the investment purchase of a 75% interest in The Brewery, Romford. The site was purchased for £102 million and has been developed into a major leisure and retail centre for the town.
Henderson Investors acted for Henderson Retail Warehouse Fund and Pearl Assurance in this purchase from Equitable Life Assurance Society. The development, covers 310,000 square feet of retail space alongside 200,000 square feet of leisure space, Sainsbury’s is the anchor tenant of the retail space. Other high-street names include Boots, Gap and JJB Sports. The leisure development includes a 16-screen cinema let to Ster Century and a bowling alley with food concessions from Pizza Express and McDonalds among others.
