Henry Boot Management Limited - Retail Development - Fast Track for M&S

Henry Boot Fast Track, the specialist retail fitting-out arm of Henry Boot Management Limited, has been working with Marks & Spencers on their latest store renewal programme.

It has recently completed the successful remodelling of five stores, including the M&S flagship store in the centre of Birmingham, whilst maintaining a live trading environment in the stores at all times. The Birmingham project incorporated the complete refurbishment of the store’s food hall which required complicated phasing and detailed co-ordination of the works.

Kevin Barclay, General Manager for Henry Boot Fast Track, comments that “The key to our successful long term relationship with Marks & Spencers is our understanding of their business and our good relationship with their project managers and store management. We have also been able to rely on a loyal supply chain to repeatedly deliver a quality service”.

Henry Boot Fast Track has now been awarded contracts at a further six M&S stores, including those at Halifax, Keighley and Wakefield, and is discussing the timescales for delivering a further six later in the year.
