Douglas Duff - Mixed-Use Development - Milton Keynes, Grafton Retail Park & Netherfield Local Centre

Date: 07 Jun 2002

Commercial property management requires specialised knowledge, and agents Douglas Duff have recently been appointed to provide this knowledge for two developments in Milton Keynes: Grafton Retail Park and Netherfield Local Centre.

Grafton Retail Park, situated on Oldbrook Boulevard just off Grafton Street, is a new, purpose-built mixed use development comprising 10 retail units, a 100-place child day-care nursery and four apartments owned by the locally-based Elliot Charles Development Ltd. Douglas Duff has been appointed to provide management services by Elliot Charles and Oldbrook Boulevard Management Company which represents the occupiers.

Netherfield Local Centre was recently sold to Wildview, and the new owners have instructed Douglas Duff to fulfil the management role for the centre which comprises 16 retail and office units totalling 2,796 sq m (30,093 sq ft). Wildview is to launch a Farmers’ Market at the centre where fresh produce can be sold to the public directly by the producers.

"Professional management expertise is essential to the success of such ventures" said partner Philip Stainsby. "Our management team is extremely busy assisting clients with their responsibilities and plans, and however diverse these may be, we have the ability and depth of knowledge to deal with a wide variety of issues."
