Description	Centre of excellence for multi-disciplinary research, developing technologies for sustainable, cost effective assessment & remediation of contaminated environments, promoting their transfer to industry. Our key interests are in contaminated land but extend more broadly to issues of point source and diffuse pollution, waste management and sustainable development. In partnership with industry, stakeholders and regulators we undertake: Academic research (e.g. subsurface modelling, biosensors, bioremediation, composting) Contract research (e.g. waste management, treatability studies, product development) Laboratory analysis (e.g. environmental, microbiological, waste management) Commercial services (e.g. geophysics, bioremediation cultures, constructed wetland design)
