Description	Clarkslegal's construction law team advises and represents clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters and acts for numerous sectors of the construction industry, including employers, main contractors, sub-contractors and consultants. Head of construction, David Rintoul, keeps abreast of developments in specialist sectors of the industry through his membership of the advisory boards of three important trade organisations: the Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA), the Confederation of Construction Specialist (CCS) and the Steel Construction Institute (SCI). In addition, David and the team are members of other construction-focus trade bodies and associations. Clarkslegal also maintains a ‘construction sector’ marketing initiative, which has helped to encompass the specialist construction industry service that we provide in areas not directly related to construction law in the pure sense. Examples include health & safety, employment and environment / waste management. The construction team works very closely with the employment and environment teams and, accordingly, is able to provide services across many different specialist areas to meet the needs of clients.
